It’s a mix of black Ceylon tea spiced with cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, ginger rhizome and green cardamom seeds.

To make the classic Masala Chai you have to simmer it for a long time in highly sugared milk, and then serve it in small coffee-like cups.
Or you can do it in another way, infusing it like regular tea in hot water, two tea spoons for a cup, leaving it in infusion for 3 minutes at 95°.
